559media was started because I saw the potential in VSLs and video media used as marketing as a whole
Ads have become stale these days. It's the same high-budget, low-effort crap for every single product
Why did I start 559media?
Lots of editing, dry CTAs, over-exaggerated smiles that seem fake
I'm not trying to change advertising as a whole, I'm using this as an opportunity to make your marketing stand out
Stories get people invested. The more invested they are, the more they'll see the story as reality
And selling is just seeing how well you can show that your product is worth it
How well your customers can see the benefits as reality
I don't like to call 559media a marketing agency (even though we are), as our type of marketing is based around storytelling, customer investment, and keeping it real
559 depicts the time 5:59 am
First, the general time of 5:59 is around dawn, describing the start of a new day. Or in this case, a newfound success for your business
Story behind the name?
We know we do things differently, and we're not afraid to embrace it
I also picked something related to nature, because our marketing is more authentic. More... natural. Closer to earth, and not as fantastical as others.
The second part of 5:59 is that it's 1 minute before 6:00. The whole idea of the sunrise, the time of dawn, was centered around 6:00
And why we chose a minute earlier, is because when you hear about us, the day hasn't started yet
When you first see us, you're one step away from that newfound success
You're close, but you're not there yet. And that minute represents the step of choosing us and our marketing
